Meredith joined Governors Avenue Animal Hospital in August of 2020, originally trained on the “hospital side” as a vet tech/assistant. Even though she didn’t have much experience in a veterinary hospital setting, Meredith brought lots of years of animal care, animal behavior, and boarding. Not to mention her love and passion for animals was genetically guaranteed, thanks to her mom(Pam)! After some time working as a vet assistant and a few months of maternity leave, an opportunity presented itself, and Meredith was able to combine all of her previous experience to help in the grooming department! Her attention to detail, in and out of the tub, has really helped with a lot of the transitions that have happened in grooming over the years. Meredith takes a special interest in anxious and misunderstood pets; her goal has always been to make it the best/most positive experience for patients and their humans!
